Sue De’ath
I have been with Informa for 9 years I am the receptionist on 3rd fl in Telephone House (TH), I started off in Informa House W1. I joined TH in 2009. I know most of Informa staff in TH as I check the floor plans (you’ve probably seen me) I also make sure everyone has a swipe card. I get to meet the new starters too.
I worked as a classroom assistant in my children’s schools, I helped out with reading I was also a meal supervisor and belonged to The Parent Teachers Association, The Steering Group for Royal Society of Arts, and was a Parent Governor.
I have applied for the Thailand Project as I have never done anything like this before in my life and I thought as I had experience the children just might benefit. We’ll see.
I’d like to know how Thai people live, I want to learn about their culture, and have satisfaction that I have helped.
I’ll take my experience as a Parent and classroom assistant to my colleagues to guide us through our 2 weeks in Thailand. Once we’re in the work mode our inspirations will come flooding in. Blue Peter eat your heart out.
I can bring back to work a sense of reality. Memories and reflect on our thoughts, and to say I have eaten real Thai food a hurdle that’ll put me to the test. (Aghhh)
End Goal
Hope we get over the language barrier. Learn more of my colleagues. To say we have worked as a team.
What can I do to achieve this goal?
We can bring our expertise to this project. Read up on this beautiful country before we go and look forward to the long flight there and back.
