We have now finished working with the orphanages. On our lastday at the Nun’s orphanage we planted watermelon, cucumber and egg plant.
Afterwards, a group of us decided to rent out a cab and head over to the Dream House orphanage to see the children one last time. While there we dropped off some bottles that Vic exchanges for money to help with the purchase of food, uniforms and other needed supplies. We also dropped off some more toys and played with the children for a little bit. The seeds that we had planted in the previous week have already started to sprout which was as satisfying site. On our visit I was surprised to see a handful of new faces as more children had moved in since our last visit.
